[What the role is]

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

As central bank, MAS promotes sustained, non-inflationary economic growth through the conduct of monetary policy and close macroeconomic surveillance and analysis. It manages Singapore’s exchange rate, official foreign reserves, and liquidity in the banking sector.

As an integrated financial supervisor, MAS fosters a sound financial services sector through its prudential oversight of all financial institutions in Singapore – banks, insurers, capital market intermediaries, financial advisors, and stock exchanges. [What you will be working on]

You will be part of the People Development Department which oversees human resource matters for MAS. Specifically, you will join the People Operations Team of the People Experience Division and will help to provide logistical and administrative support for various HR activities from recruitment & onboarding to resignation & offboarding. You may also be involved in benefits administration such as leave management, medical & dental, and other HR related claims. You may also be required to perform ad-hoc tasks assigned to you and/or the team.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements

  • Meticulous and organised
  • Strong and resourceful team-player
  • Good communication skills, oral and written
  • Good working knowledge of Micorsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook etc.
  • Experience in HR operations (e.g. data entry, data reporting, employee life cycle processing, benefits administration, coordination of meetings) is preferred
  • Familiarity with Workday will be an advantage
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.
