· Assist the camp directors in program development for the summer camp
· Provide leadership, direction and supervision to 10-12 camp participants
· Research, plan and animate engaging camp activities (themes, outings, crafts, etc.) for children 5-12 years old
· Accompany participants to camp activities and maintain a positive environment
· Maintain daily attendance and activity reports
· Create a positive rapport with all campers and chaperones
· Be aware of camper dietary/medical needs
· Plan weekly recreational and cultural activities
· Attend training sessions and regular meetings with mentor.
· Set learning objectives and develop a plan to meet these objectives
· Keep accurate records & incident reports, and report incidents immediately to camp director
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks
Salary: $17.00 per hour
